WHY WORK WITH MY DIGITAL TAT2?
EVERY TEXT, SHARE, AND INTERACTION ONLINE MAKES AN IMPACT.
Our sequential, standards-based curriculum aids schools in meeting the requirements of California’s media literacy law, Assembly Bill 873. All workshops are interactive, led by experienced educators, and informed by contemporary research and current youth insights shared with us from teens in our Youth Empowerment Programs.
OUR SERVICES
My Digital TAT2 helps young people understand their power and responsibility online.
Our parent education workshops are designed to support caregivers in raising their children in the digital era. Participants gain a better understanding of the risks and rewards of digital use, including issues regarding screen time and how to keep their children safe online and learn practical strategies to foster a healthy tech balance within the whole family. Workshops are virtual.
FAMILIES
Our 3-8th grade student workshops educate young people to be empathetic, ethical, and responsible consumers and producers of online content. We challenge students to think critically about their actions online and give them tools to cultivate a healthy and mindful relationship with technology. Workshops are virtual, with limited in-person spots available for Bay Area schools.
SCHOOLS
Blending current research and the actual experiences of young people, our workshops for school counselors and youth services providers aim to help participants understand young people’s relationship with technology as it relates to their social development and its impact on their health and well-being. Participants gain practical strategies to support students and families in developing a balanced, healthy relationship with technology. Workshops are virtual.
